After two days of training camp, Saskatchewan has cut defensive back John Ojo.
The Riders signed the former CFL all-star to a two-year contract in March.
Ojo spent three seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos. He helped them win the Grey Cup in 2015 and was selected a CFL all-star that season after having five interceptions and 41 tackles.
During training camp in 2016, Ojo ruptured his Achilles and missed the entire season. He was not re-signed by the Eskimos. The New York Jets signed him in April 2017 but waived Ojo in May. Injury concerns kept him out of football for nearly a year.
Ojo is now a free agent.
