Riders release receiver T.J. Thorpe, six others

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have released receiver T.J. Thorpe and six other players as the fallout from this week’s mini-camp continues.

Thorpe played six games for Winnipeg last season but asked for his release from the practice roster and was subsequently signed by Saskatchewan. He did not play in a game for the Riders.

Overall, Thorpe made 33 catches for 302 yards with the Bombers in 2017.
