The Riders have stated the team is doing whatever it can to help the Humboldt community after the tragedy that saw 16 people associated with the junior hockey club pass away in a fatal bus accident.
“That was certainly a tragedy that happened,” Jones said. “I can’t even imagine as a parent waking up and hearing that type of news. Having to deal with that, it makes a pit in my stomach.”
