In game two Manziel completed 10 of 16 passes for 188 yards with an interception while adding 27 yards and two touchdowns on six rushes.

“If it’s meant to be it will be, and if not (in the NFL) I’ll find a place to play football somewhere – wherever that may be,” Manziel told the Houston Chronicle.

Might that place be New England. Manziel wore a Patriots hoodie recently prompting plenty of speculation.

I heard from someone I trust who says there are internal discussions going on right now in Foxboro about the possibility of inviting Johnny Football to camp.

The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner has said he would go to the Patriots in a “heartbeat.” It appears Manziel is going to exhaust all NFL possibilities and if nothing comes to fruition turn his attention to the CFL where he has a guaranteed contract offer.

The Ticats own Manziel’s CFL negotiation list rights and Hamilton had general manager Eric Tillman at The Spring League to watch the celebrity quarterback.
