Johnny Manziel defends Colin Kaepernick

Johnny Manziel has come to the defence of fellow quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Manziel, who is trying to draw the interest of NFL teams after washing out of the league is on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats negotiation list. Kaepernick, whose CFL rights rest with Montreal, hasn’t played since 2016 after becoming the focal point of the recent protests by NFL players over racial issues in the United States.

Manziel posted a series of Tweets on Saturday afternoon in support of Kaepernick.
