The Lions have signed defensive back Keelan Johnson to a one-year contract.
Johnson recorded a league-high 29 special teams tackles in 2017
“Keelan is another young, skilled defensive back who possesses a lot of speed and a desire for physical play,” said GM Ed Hervey. “He will most definitely compete for a roster spot on our defence and brings with him a very impressive special teams resume as well.”
Johnson played two seasons in Ottawa and earned a Grey Cup ring with the Redblacks in 2016.
