Bond. Travis Bond.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have shaken up – but not stirred – their offensive line by adding American Travis Bond on a one-year contract, per sources.
The 27-year-old started 16 games for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last season and was a CFL all-star at guard in 2016. Bond has tremendous size at 6-foot-7, 360 pounds. The Riders starting left tackle last season, Bruce Campbell is currently a free agent.
Bond was a seventh-round pick, 214th overall by the Vikings in 2013. He spent parts of two NFL seasons with Minnesota, Carolina and St. Louis playing in two games.
The Riders released American offensive lineman Derek Dennis on Tuesday.
