The Panthers re-signed former Toronto Argonauts offensive lineman Greg Van Roten to a two-year contract through the 2019 NFL season.
He was a potential restricted free agent.
Signed on the eve of training camp last season, Van Roten made the 53-man roster entering the regular season. He played in 10 games, primarily on special teams, getting 10 snaps on offence (nine of them at centre against the Dolphins).
Van Roten will provide depth at both centre and guard.
