After signing north of the border in 2016, Heath has been a CFL all-star twice in two seasons. He played 16 games between Toronto and Winnipeg in 2016 making 51 tackles and a league-high-tying seven interceptions. The 30-year-old followed that up with 64 tackles, five interceptions (tied for third-most in the league), returning one for a touchdown and recording one sack. The Bombers acquired Heath as part of the Drew Willy trade with the Argos in September 2016.

Heath is coming off a lower level deal and deservedly wants a raise that he should get or other teams in the CFL will happily give him.
