The Edmonton Eskimos have re-signed international offensive lineman D’Anthony Batiste through the 2019 CFL season.
Batiste appeared in four games for the Eskimos last season after spending most of the year on the team’s practice roster. Batiste, a West Division all-star in 2015, was initially not offered a contract for 2017 before signing a deal for a practice roster spot.
Batiste has appeared in 55 games for the Eskimos, starting all 18 games in the 2015 and 2016 seasons. The native of Marksville, La., was a member of Edmonton’s 2015 Grey Cup championship team.
