The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have 10 days to offer quarterback Johnny Manziel a contract or risk losing his negotiation list rights.
In addition to announcing that they’d approve a contract for Manziel, the CFL has re-started the 10-day window for the Ticats to offer Manziel a contract, effective today.
If the Ticats offer him a deal and he rejects it, they retain his rights for a year.
It was Manziel’s decision to trigger the so-called 10-day window this summer that led to a review by the league and an extension of the deadline.
