Minnesota Vikings workout 5 CFL players Friday

The Vikings had an entire workout dedicated to CFL players on Friday.

The #Vikings today worked out five CFL players they are considering signing after the season. They were WR Brandon Zylstra (Edmonton, Concordia-Moorhead), DE Craig Roh (British Columbia), DB Kacy Rodgers (Saskatchewan), DB Jonathon Mincy (Montreal), WR Darel Walker (Edmonton).

Zylstra led the CFL with 1,687 receiving yards on 100 receptions adding five touchdowns in 2017 and was named a 2017 all-star.

Roh posted seven sacks and 18 tackles in 16 games with the Lions.

Rodgers emerged as a top cover man in the league while making 42 tackles, two forced fumbles and one interception.

Mincy played boundary corner for Montreal in 2017 where many of the best wide outs in the CFL line up each week. He was targeted 6.2 times per game in 2017 and he allowed a 64 per cent completion rate and 42.3 yards per game, leading the league in those categories (statistics via Onside CFL Fantasy host Dave Dawson).

Walker had 48 catches for 634 yards and two touchdowns in eight games after returning from Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp. He finished 2016 second in the CFL with 1,589 receiving yards.
