Ottawa offensive coordinator Jamie Elizondo is on Montreal’s short list for possibly filling the head coach position.
Jaime Elizondo worked both with Marc Trestman and Scott Milanovich and he could bring back a "Trestman like" type of culture to the Alouettes.

The Redblacks scored the most amount of points among East Division squads in 2017 with 495 a long way from the Alouettes total of 314. Elizondo has spent two seasons in Ottawa calling offensive plays.
He came to Ottawa after time with the Argos as a receivers and quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator. Elizondo spent the 2008 season as a receivers coach and special teams assistant in Montreal.
