Nichols started 17 games for Winnipeg in 2017 and threw for 4,472 yards with a league-best 28-8 TD-INT ratio. Dan LeFevour took his place in Winnipeg’s Week 20 win over Calgary. The 30-year-old had started 30 games in a row for the Bombers.
The Bombers host their first home playoff game since 2011 and get their franchise quarterback back in the lineup, which is crucial to their chances of moving on in the playoffs.
