Alouettes beat reporter Herb Zurkowsky first reported that Reed would be staying in Montreal.
The Als were eliminated from playoff contention on Thanksgiving Monday.
Montreal has the worst offence in the CFL (302 points scored) and currently sit last in the league with a 3-13 record while the Als are on a nine-game losing streak.
