Many around the CFL wondered how well Duron Carter could tackle in his first start as a defensive back for the Riders.

Carter stands five-foot-five, 205 pounds and Messam is at six-foot-three, 255 pounds. So the receiver-turned-defensive back was giving away 50 pounds and showed no fear.
