Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Matt Nichols has left the game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Friday night with an apparent hand injury.
Nichols appeared to suffer the injury in the first quarter when stripped by Hamilton’s Abdul Kanneh. He got up flexing his hand after several plays during the first half and Dominique Davis took over to start the first quarter.
Nichols leads the CFL with an efficiency rating of 105.1 and also tops his counterparts with 26 touchdown passes and only seven interceptions. He hasn’t thrown a pick in his last 107 straight passes.
