Trent Richardson to make Riders debut Saturday

Trent Richardson is set to make his Riders debut in Toronto.

The high-profile running back was signed by the Riders last week and travelled with the team on their eastern trip. He attended to a family matter in Florida while the Riders played and beat Ottawa then rejoined the team.

The arrival of Richardson could be ideal with the Riders leading rusher totalling 49, 34, 12 and 52 yards in the last four games, Kienan LaFrance and Brandon Bridge accounted for those numbers. Saskatchewan ranks last in the CFL with 907 rushing yards, while every other team has 1,000 or more yards on the ground so far this season.
