Edmonton has cut veteran Canadian receiver Chris Getzlaf.
The 34-year-old had five catches for 43 yards and one touchdown in eight games with the Eskimos this season.
He recorded 41 receptions for 455 yards and two touchdowns in 18 games last year with Edmonton.
Getzlaf spent eight seasons with the Riders from 2008-2015. He has 6,192 career receiving yards on 414 receptions to go with 41 touchdowns.
He was originally selected by the Tiger-Cats in the 2007 CFL Draft, later traded to Saskatchewan. Getzlaf was named the Most Valuable Canadian in the Riders 2013 Grey Cup victory in Regina.
