Kevin Glenn takes Twitter stand against Trump

Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Kevin Glenn has spoken out against U.S. president Donald Trump.

Glenn’s comments come after Trump suggested at a rally in Alabama on Friday night that NFL owners fire players who kneel during the anthem, and fans should consider walking out in protest. On Saturday morning, Trump tweeted that he withdrew the invitation to Golden State star Steph Curry because the two-time NBA MVP hesitated to attend the traditional trip by the NBA champions to the White House. Hours later, the Warriors said they would skip the White House visit as a team.

Glenn is a 17-year veteran who has played for multiple CFL teams and is widely respected throughout the league.
