1. Alex Singleton, linebacker, Calgary Stampeders

Singleton is nipping at Solomon Elimimian for the CFL lead in tackles (69 to 73). The case is growing stronger for the 23-year-old as Most Oustanding Defensive Player. He had 13 tackles and one sack on Labour Day.

2. Henoc Muamba, linebacker, Saskatchewan Roughriders

Muamba had seven tackles against Winnipeg on Sunday and it seemed as though every time he stopped the offensive player dead in their tracks (ask Andrew Harris. No. 10 was moving like a man possessed – fun to watch.

3. Antoine Pruneau, linebacker/defensive back, Ottawa Redblacks

Ottawa’s versatile national has bounced between safety and strong-side linebacker and been productive at both spots. Pruneau notched his third interception of the season to set a new single-season career high.
