Riders general manager and head coach Chris Jones confirmed Thursday that discussions between Saskatchewan and Hamilton regarding quarterback Zach Collaros took place.
“Were there conversations, yeah. They called and we spoke, but that’s about the extent of it,” Jones said.
Ticats vice president of football operations Kent Austin said that the Ticats have not shopped Collaros, but he said that there have been inquiries about the 29-year-old pivot.
So who called who? Do we believe Jones or Austin?
