Riders trade receiver Ricky Collins to Ticats for DE Mike McAdoo

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have traded receiver Ricky Collins to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in exchange for defensive end Mike McAdoo.

Collins, 25, played 14 regular season games in 2016 with 13 starts, registering 48 receptions for 720 yards and two touchdowns. He has played in just one game this season, suffering a shoulder injury in the season-opener against the Montreal Alouettes.

Collins all but confirmed the trade on Twitter.

McAdoo, 27, attended training camp with Ticats and was released after training camp only to be re-signed on Aug. 7. He has yet to appear in a CFL game this season but played two games with Winnipeg in 2013,registering one tackle and one sack.
