Toronto has signed Canadian pass catcher Alex Charette.
The University of Guelph product was released by Montreal in late June.
Charette was originally drafted by Alouettes general manager Jim Popp in 2015 – fourth, round, 36th overall. He made 24 catches for 208 yards, playing 18 games in his rookie season. Then played just nine games while battling injuries in 2016.
