Canadian defensive back Cauchy Muamba has signed a one-year contract with Edmonton, per sources.
The 30-year-old played in 17 games making 27 tackles, three interceptions and two sacks during the Eskimos run to a 2015 Grey Cup championship.
Muamba, the older brother of Saskatchewan Roughriders linebacker Henoc Muamba, brings proven starting experience in the backend and special teams ability.

He was originally drafted in the fifth round, 34th overall of the 2010 CFL draft by B.C. He played three seasons with the Lions, one with the Bombers and the last three with Edmonton.
