Genie Bouchard, Canada’s top-ranked women’s tennis player, was apparently at Monday’s night Toronto Argonaut’s game against the Ottawa Redblacks.
Bouchard tweeted out a picture from BMO Field to her – holy crap – 1.37 million Twitter followers.

There doesn’t appear to be a good reason as to why Bouchard was one of just 15,801 people at the game. Based on the photo, her seats were OK, but she wasn’t in a suite. The league, which would kick its own grandmother out of the selfie for the kind of exposure Genie provides, hasn’t mentioned her visit on their various social media platforms (just wait, that’ll change.) The Rogers Cup, the women’s tennis tourney in Toronto, doesn’t start until August.
Is it possible that Genie Bouchard, telegenic social media maven from Montreal, is actually a closet CFL fan?
No, it is not. So what was she doing there?
