Edmonton cover man Garry Peters appeared to make contact with an official on Thursday night in Hamilton.
Peters was flagged for objectionable conduct on the play.
Earlier this season, Ticats defender Will Hill was ejected from a game and later suspended one game for grabbing a referee.
Based on how Hill’s discipline from commissioner Randy Ambrosie played out, it would seem likely that a fine or possible suspension could come for Peters.
