With training camp set to begin on Sunday, the Montreal Alouettes have released Canadian defensive linemen Donnie Oramasionwu and Michael Klassen.
The Alouettes signed both players on Feb. 20, 2017 with Oramasionwu coming over from the Edmonton Eskimos and Klassen re-signing with the club where he had spent his entire four-year career.
Despite the losses, Montreal could still start a Canadian at defensive tackle with Jabar Westerman, veteran Keith Shologan, Tim Banjo and 2017 CFL draft pick Fabion Foote all under contract.
