Two-time Grey Cup champion Kamar Jorden hired by Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham

Former Calgary Stampeders receiver Kamar Jorden has been hired by Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham.

The 36-year-old joins the Devils coaching staff as the team’s special teams coordinator and receivers coach.

Jorden dressed in 55 regular season for the Stamps from 2014 to 2022. He recorded 248 receptions for 3,454 yards with 19 touchdowns and added one rushing major. The six-foot-three, 205-pound target won two Grey Cup rings with Calgary, one in 2014 and the other in 2018. Two times he was named a West Division all-star in 2018 and 2021.

His most productive CFL season came in 2018, registering 55 catches for 944 yards with six touchdowns in 10 regular season starts prior to suffering a year-ending ACL injury in September. He holds the franchise’s single game receiving yards record with 249 posted in an August 25, 2018 game versus Winnipeg.

In 2021, Jorden earned the Herm Harrison Memorial award for outstanding community service.

After his playing career was over, the Darby, Pennsylvania native became an assistant coach at Unionville High School in 2023 and coached receivers at Albright College in 2025.
