The Bombers have released Canadian defensive tackle Keith Shologan in a cap saving measure after signing him to a big free agent deal last off-season.
#Bombers paid Keith Shologan (31) $170K to become a run-plugging nose tackle last season. Never happened. #CFL

I don’t expect #Bombers to move away from starting a CDN at NT. Veteran Jake Thomas, young’ns Rupert Butcher & Brandon Tennant in the mix.

#Bombers have shed lots of salary in Shologan, Glenn, Kohlert (FA), Cummings (FA) & Hurl (FA). Don’t expect another veteran to be released.

Shologan made 22 tackles and added two sacks in 18 games with the Bombers in 2016. He’s played nine CFL seasons with Saskatchewan, Calgary and Winnipeg amassing 190 tackles and 25 sacks in 140 games.
The Bombers also released national running back Pascal Lochard.
