The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have re-signed Canadian receiver Tyler Ternowski.
The 27-year-old played 16 regular-season games in 2025, making 11 catches for 119 yards and one touchdown along with 13 special teams tackles.
The six-foot, 185-pound native Hamilton, Ont. was originally a third-round pick in the 2020 CFL Draft out of the University of Waterloo. Ternowski has since made 39 receptions for 465 yards and two touchdowns, plus 34 special teams tackles.
The Tiger-Cats have also re-signed American receivers Myron Mitchell and Moochie Dixon.
Mitchell dressed for four regular-season games with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2024, returning 11 punts for 62 yards and eight kickoffs for 144 yards. The six-foot-one, 180-pound native of Jasper, Ala. attended training camp with the team in 2025 but was released as part of final roster cuts. He joined Hamilton’s practice roster a few months later.
Dixon played three collegiate seasons at Southern Methodist University where he caught 74 passes for 1,205 yards and eight touchdowns over 40 games. The six-foot, 187-pound native of Carthage, Texas previously played at the University of Texas where he made 12 catches for 176 yards and one score over two years. The 24-year-old recently had a stint with the New Orleans Saints.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats finished first in the East Division standings in 2025 with an 11-7 record, though the team lost the East Final to the Montreal Alouettes. Bo Levi Mitchell led the CFL with 5,296 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions after starting all 18 regular-season games, earning the East Division’s nomination for Most Outstanding Player.
The Tiger-Cats ranked third in net offence, eighth in net defence, and first with a turnover differential of plus-ten. The club’s leading rusher was Greg Bell with 1,038 yards, leading receiver was Kenny Lawler with 1,443 yards, and leading tackler was Stavros Katsantonis with 69 tackles. Hamilton ranked fourth in attendance with average crowds of 22,858, which was a 3.9 percent increase from the previous year.
