The Hamilton Tiger-Cats saw their season come to an unceremonious end with a 19-16 loss to the Montreal Alouettes in the East Final on Saturday.
Though this season was a step in the right direction in Steeltown — the team finished first in the East Division and won double-digit regular-season games for the first time since 2019 — there’s more work to be done if the club wants to end its league-worst Grey Cup drought, which now stands at 26 years.
Franchise quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell’s future remains unclear as he indicated that he needs to have several conversations before deciding if he’ll play in 2026. The two-time CFL M.O.P. and Grey Cup champion will turn 36 in March and has openly discussed retirement in the past.
Here is the full list of 30 players whose contracts will expire in February. Please note that “N” denotes nationals (ie, Canadians), “A” denotes Americans, and “G” denotes Globals.
