Winnipeg Blue Bombers list Nic Demski as game-time decision for East Semi-Final

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have listed Canadian receiver Nic Demski as a game-time decision for the East Semi-Final.

The five-foot-eleven, 212-pound target suffered a hamstring injury against the Edmonton Elks in Week 19, which caused him to miss the final two games of the regular season. He did not participate in practice with the club this week and was listed as doubtful on the team’s final injury report.

The 31-year-old finished the season as Winnipeg’s leading receiver, making 67 receptions for 1,001 yards and seven touchdowns over 16 starts at slotback.

The native of Winnipeg, Man. has caught 494 passes for 6,285 yards and 42 touchdowns over 152 regular-season CFL games as a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Blue Bombers. The former first-round CFL draft pick out of the University of Manitoba has reached 1,000 yards in three straight seasons.

Winnipeg has made nine changes to their roster this week as Zach Collaros, Brady Oliveira, Ontaria Wilson, Stanley Bryant, Willie Jefferson, James Vaughters, Redha Kramdi, and Trey Vaval have been moved to the active roster alongside Demski.

Those who have come off the active roster include Chris Streveler, Matthew Peterson, Cam Echols, Micah Vanterpool, Ethan Vibert, Matthew Jaworski, Kydran Jenkins, Jake Kelly, and Peyton Logan. Streveler is the only removal who is injured, as he suffered what appeared to be a serious knee injury in last week’s regular-season finale.

The Blue Bombers have also made one change to their starting lineup as Joey Corcoran is listed as the starter at field-side wide receiver over Kevens Clercius.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers (10-8) will visit the Montreal Alouettes (10-8) in the East Semi-Final at Percival Molson Stadium on Saturday, November 1 with kickoff slated for 2:00 p.m. EDT. The two teams met at Princess Auto Stadium in the final week of the regular season as the Blue Bombers came away with a 19-10 victory.

The weather forecast in Montreal calls for a high of 8 degrees with rain. The game will be broadcast on TSN, RDS, and CTV in Canada and CFL+ internationally. Radio listeners can tune-in on 680 CJOB in Winnipeg and TSN 690 in Montreal.
