The Montreal Alouettes’ potential 2026 free agents list

The Montreal Alouettes fell short of winning their second Grey Cup in three years on Sunday as they lost to the Saskatchewan Roughriders by a score of 25-17 at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg.

Despite the disappointing finish, the Alouettes went 10-8 in the regular-season despite missing franchise quarterback Davis Alexander for 11 outings. General manager Danny Maciocia consistently preaches the importance of continuity, which is probably why the team has relatively few pending free agents compared to other CFL teams.

Montreal has only 22 players currently set to hit the open market, though a few would-be pending free agents have become available early after being placed on the practice roster to end the year.
