The Montreal Alouettes have brought back Canadian offensive lineman Landon Rice.

The 37-year-old native of Brandon, Man. played 55 regular-season games with the Alouettes from 2019 to 2023, earning two All-East Division selections and winning one Grey Cup. Rice won another Grey Cup in 2024 when he joined the Toronto Argonauts as a free agent and dressed for 16 regular-season games, mostly in a depth role.

The six-foot-five, 320-pound blocker originally went unselected in the 2013 CFL Draft out of the University of Manitoba but made the practice roster with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats that same year. Rice ended up spending six seasons with the team, dressing for 73 regular-season games.

Rice was traded to the Montreal Alouettes in 2018 as part of the Johnny Manziel deal, but ended up being released. He signed back with the Tiger-Cats that same year.

The Alouettes have also brought back linebacker K.D. Davis, who was released in September. The six-foot, 230-pound native of Ennis, Texas recorded five total tackles over six regular-season games with the team in 2024 and 2025. Davis was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year in 2022 at North Texas University.

The Montreal Alouettes (10-8) will host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (10-8) in the East Semi-Final at Percival Molson Stadium on Saturday, November 1 with kickoff slated for 2:00 p.m. EDT. The two teams met at Princess Auto Stadium in the final week of the regular season as the Blue Bombers came away with a 19-10 victory.

The weather forecast in Montreal calls for a high of 8 degrees with rain. The game will be broadcast on TSN, RDS, and CTV in Canada and CFL+ internationally. Radio listeners can tune-in on 680 CJOB in Winnipeg and TSN 690 in Montreal.
