The Calgary Stampeders have unveiled the logo for next year’s Grey Cup.
The emblem features the same template that’s been in use since 2023 with the league’s trophy adorned with the CFL logo and the words “Grey Cup” written across it. Surrounding the base of the trophy is a red and white mountain range, which is a clear reference to the Stampeders colour scheme and the topography of Alberta.
The 113th Grey Cup is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 15, 2026 at McMahon Stadium. It will mark the sixth time the Grey Cup occurs in Calgary with previous ones taking place in 1975, 1993, 2000, 2009, and 2019.
The last Grey Cup hosted in Calgary attracted a crowd of 35,440 as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats by a score of 33-12. Keith Urban performed the halftime show.
The Calgary Stampeders (10-7) will visit the Edmonton Elks (7-10) at Commonwealth Stadium on Friday, October 24 with kickoff slated for 9:30 p.m. EDT. The Stampeders are coming off a blowout win over the Toronto Argonauts, while the Elks were eliminated from playoff contention following a loss to the B.C. Lions.
The weather forecast in Edmonton calls for a high of 14 degrees with a mix of sun and cloud. The game will be broadcast on TSN in Canada and CFL+ internationally. Radio listeners can tune-in on 770 CHQR in Calgary and 880 CHED in Edmonton.
