Saskatchewan Roughriders sign former Redblacks receiver Siaosi Mariner

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American wide receiver Siaosi Mariner.

The six-foot-one, 190-pound target played for the Ottawa Redblacks in 2022 and 2023, recording 26 receptions for 317 yards and two touchdowns over 16 regular-season games.

The 28-year-old most recently played for the Michigan Panthers of the UFL where he led the league with 527 receiving yards in 2025.

Mariner was a member of Las Vegas Raiders and Baltimore Ravens prior to signing his first CFL contract, though he did not see regular-season action with either team.

The native of Tustin, Calif. was a collegiate standout at Utah State where he caught 63 passes for 987 yards and 10 touchdowns in 13 games in 2019 to be named second-team All-Mountain West Conference.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders (12-5) will host the B.C. Lions (10-7) on Saturday, October 25 with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. EDT. The Lions are coming off a win over the Edmonton Elks and can clinch second place in the West Division with a win over Saskatchewan, while the Roughriders lost a sloppy affair in Winnipeg.

The weather forecast in Regina calls for a high of 19 degrees with sunny conditions. The game will be broadcast on TSN in Canada and CFL+ internationally. Radio listeners can tune-in on 730 CKNW in Vancouver and 620 CKRM in Regina.
