Saskatchewan Roughriders’ quarterback Trevor Harris has been named the CFL’s top performer for Week 19 by Pro Football Focus (PFF).

The 39-year-old completed 23-of-29 pass attempts for 340 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions in a 27-19 win over the Toronto Argonauts, earning a grade of 90.0. This is the fourth time Harris has been selected for PFF’s honour roll this season and the second time he’s been chosen for player of the week.

The top defensive player of the week was Saskatchewan defensive lineman Mike Rose, who earned a score of 86.0. The 33-year-old native of Fountain Inn, S.C. has recorded 17 defensive tackles and six sacks for the Roughriders this season, his first with the team.

The Roughriders clinched first place in the West Division standings this past week after improving to 12-4.

The Edmonton Elks had the highest-graded offensive line of the week with a group score of 80.8. Right tackle Brett Boyko was the top-graded individual at 76.2, followed by left guard Mark Korte (74.6) and centre David Beard (74.4).

The CFL partnered with PFF for the first time ahead of the 2023 season. The company uses game footage to review every player on the field and grades their individual performances on a scale from zero to 100.

The league unveils the top-graded players from PFF each week. Offensive and defensive players must play a minimum of 25 snaps to be eligible, and special teams players must play at least 10. Ties are broken by the number of snaps played.
