Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Jake Waters suffered a broken collarbone in last week’s loss to B.C. and will miss the season finale against the Lions on Saturday.
Waters, who saw some time in place of veteran starter Darian Durant during Week 19, appeared to suffer the injury with just under six minutes to play in the third quarter when he was sacked by Lions defensive tackle Mic’hael Brooks. That was the last series he played in the game. He finished 3-for-5 with 5 passing yards.
The 24-year-old Waters was acquired from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in a July trade for a negotiation list player.
