Ticats acquire Justin Capicciotti, Xavier Fulton in trade with Riders

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have acquired Canadian defensive lineman Justin Capicciotti and American offensive lineman Xavier Fulton from the Saskatchewan Roughriders in exchange for national defensive tackle Linden Gaydosh, international receiver Tommy Streeter and fourth and seventh round selections in the 2017 CFL Draft.

Capicciotti was a significant free agent signing last winter after registering 12 sacks in 2015 (and 11 in 2014) but has just two sacks and 24 tackles in 14 games this season. Fulton has 74 starts at left tackle over the last five seasons.

Gaydosh was the first overall pick in the 2013 draft but has played sparingly for the Ticats, appearing in just 10 games over the last three seasons. Streeter was signed by the Ticats in August and has yet to make his CFL debut.
