The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed American receiver Josh Johnson, he announced on social media on Monday.
The five-foot-eleven, 181-pound native of Little Rock, Ark. made 10 starts for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2024, catching 18 passes for 138 yards. He was released in mid-September after losing his starting job to fellow rookie Keric Wheatfall.
The 25-year-old played 46 collegiate games at the University of Tulsa where he made 165 catches for 2,118 yards and 13 touchdowns. He started his collegiate career at Iowa State University where he caught one pass for 11 yards.
