The Ottawa Redblacks have signed quarterback Tyrie Adams to a contract extension through 2025.

The six-foot-two, 185-pound native of St. Petersburg, Fla. has completed 31-of-49 pass attempts for 314 yards, one touchdown, and one interception over 11 career CFL games and rushed 11 times for 81 yards. He made one start for the Redblacks in 2023 and won it, though he suffered a torn ACL that kept him out for the rest of the year.

Adams has dressed for most of Ottawa’s games this season in a depth role, though he’s currently on the team’s six-game injured list.
