Veteran defensive lineman Anthony Lanier II returned to practice with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Monday, albeit as a limited participant.
The 31-year-old native of Savannah, Ga. recently completed a stint on the six-game injured list due to a knee problem. He dressed for seven games to start the season, making nine defensive tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble.
The six-foot-six, 285-pound defender has made 60 tackles, 16 sacks, and three forced fumbles over 39 career CFL games, all with Saskatchewan.

Offensive lineman Jacob Brammer (knee) was a limited participant, while defensive lineman Malik Carney (ankle) didn’t participate.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders (5-7-1) will visit the Calgary Stampeders (4-8-1) on Friday, Sept. 20 with kickoff slated for 9:30 p.m. EDT.
