The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed offensive lineman Tairiq Stewart to their practice roster.
Stewart played 29 games with the North Carolina A&T Aggies after previously spending time with West Virginia and ASA Brooklyn College. The Cleveland, Ohio native was named first-team All-Big South in 2022 and second-team All-CAA in 2023.
The six-foot-six blocker most recently attended training camp with the Edmonton Elks. He was a rookie mini-camp participant with the New England Patriots and played in the 2024 HBC Legacy Bowl in February.
The Roughriders (5-6-1) will visit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (6-6) on Saturday, September 7 at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
