In 2015 the Winnipeg native registered 53 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and recovered another while playing his third CIS season. Lalama was a captain for Brian Dobie’s team and anchored the Bisons’ defence at middle linebacker. The 22-year-old earned the Canada West Student-Athlete Community Service award last year.

Back in May, Lalama attended New York Giants rookie mini-camp.
