The Toronto Argonauts have signed Canadian offensive lineman Landon Rice, per sources.
The 36-year-old native of Brandon, Man. most recently played for the Montreal Alouettes, starting nine games at right tackle and helping the team win a Grey Cup in 2023. He was named an East Division all-star at offensive tackle in 2021 and 2022.
The six-foot-six, 317-pound blocker originally went unselected in the 2013 CFL Draft out of the University of Manitoba. He spent six seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and dressed for 77 games with Steeltown before being dealt to Montreal as part of the blockbuster Johnny Manziel trade.

Rice has played a total of 132 career CFL regular season games.
The Toronto Argonauts (2-0) will host the Montreal Alouettes (3-0) on Friday, June 28 with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. EDT.
