Begelton was named a CFL all-star in 2023 after catching 86 passes for 1,119 yards and five touchdowns in 15 games. He led the team in all receiving categories while finishing second league-wide in catches and sixth league-wide in receiving yards. The 30-year-old native of Beaumont, Texas has made 329 catches for 4,445 yards and 24 touchdowns over six seasons with the Stampeders.

The 39-year-old product of Concordia University is a five-time CFL all-star who sits ninth in league history with 2,129 career regular season points. The two-time Grey Cup champion was named the league’s Most Outstanding Special Teams Player in 2013.
