The Toronto Argonauts have signed Canadian long snapper Blaise Barber.
The native of Hamilton, Ont. went unselected in the 2022 CFL Draft and has since been a member of the Edmonton Elks and Ottawa Redblacks, though he’s yet to dress for a regular season game.
The six-foot-two, 250-pounder played four seasons of U Sports football at McMaster University, recording 16 tackles. He was part of the OUA championship-winning Marauders in 2019 and was selected to play in the 2022 U Sports East-West Bowl.
The Argonauts will play their second and final preseason game on Friday, May 31 when they host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
