B.C. Lions sign former Riders’ defensive end Pete Robertson

The B.C. Lions have signed former Saskatchewan Roughriders’ defensive end Pete Robertson.

The 31-year-old spent the past three seasons in Regina, recording 86 defensive tackles, two special teams tackles, 21 sacks, six forced fumbles, and one interception over 42 regular season games.

The six-foot-two, 243-pound edge-rusher was a member of the Seattle Seahawks, Washington Football Team, and Arizona Cardinals prior to signing his first CFL contract.

The Lions will open their 2024 regular season on Sunday, June 9 when they visit the Toronto Argonauts at BMO Field.
