The Montreal Alouettes have officially signed Canadian defensive lineman Isaac Adeyemi-Berglund to a two-year contract. The news was first reported by 3DownNation’s Justin Dunk on February 7.

The former first-round pick played a rotational role in Calgary during the past two seasons after starting games as a rookie in 2021. He has recorded 52 defensive tackles, nine special teams tackles, 14 sacks, and one forced fumble over 50 career games to make the case for deserving a larger role.

The Dartmouth, N.S. native adds some juice to the Als’ pass rush along with ratio flexibility. The 27-year-old could be a potential replacement for Lwal Uguak, who signed in the NFL.
